Matt and Karen have been Pastors of Abundant Life for only 9 months. Parents to 4 kids ages 11 to 18 months and with many years of youth ministry and various teaching adventures behind them, their first year of senior ministry has been one of both fun, adventure and achievement. A passion for pastoring people along with leading the whole church into it’s God given destiny is one they approach with passion, commitment and transparency.

CREATIVE PASTORS
A tremendous couple with vast experience head up a gifted and faithful team each and every Sunday. A desire to see Gods name elevated in all they do, this couple has been part of the Abundant journey for many years. Committed to each other, in love with the house of God and dedicated to seeing the next generation of worshippers emerge; Jarrod and Sally are a key couple in Abundant Life Church.

YOUTH PASTORS
This newly married couple just love young people. Devoted to seeing each and every young person explore and ultimately fulfil everything God has in store for them, Aaron and Kel give of themselves unselfishly every Friday night for games, adventures and rallies along with each Monday night for small groups and leadership development. Aaron and Kel lead an amazing team who believe in grades 6-9, college and young adult
  Rose Medwin
KIDS PASTOR
Rose heads up an extraordinary team of devoted kids workers, passionate about our youngest generation stepping into a full, vibrant and abundant relationship with the one who loves them, Jesus. With 2 great boys of her own and an adoring husband Kent, Rose oversees the three areas of Kids Life each Sunday, From the youngest in crèche to ‘Smash and Crash’ (ages 3-7) into ‘Kids for Jesus’ expertly run by Ashley Rootes and the ‘Kidmo’ program, each Sunday sees our young chargers developed, blessed and left wanting more.

ADMIN TEAM
Not just a great couple, but also the head of a tremendous team of hard working volunteers. Committed to the daily running of the church, this team is essential to all that Abundant Life is attempting to achieve in individuals lives and the life of the whole community.

LIFE CARE
Pastor Karen heads up this amazing ministry focussing on meeting the needs of people, both those inside and outside the church through the practical help of food and home help. Showing people ‘we are what we talk about’ is the motto, so for families with new babies at home to those recuperating from illness or going through grief, this ministry is designed to be the hands and feet behind the voice.

HOSPITALITY
Shell is one of the most loved members of the Abundant Life family as it is through her that flows the great food and hospitality we are becoming famous for. As with all things in Abundant Life, we are a team and this team is no different, hard working, fun loving and committed to excellence. Mum to three fantastic kids, each highly involved in church life themselves, and wife to a great man Ian, this family is a wonderful example of modern parenting and overcoming obstacles.

CELEBRATION
Looking after most teams on a Sunday, from car park, ushering, hosting and many more – should be a huge job, but with a smile and a wink, Jake Towns puts everyone at ease. Celebration is the zone most passionate about making each event at Abundant Life memorable for its good humour, friendliness and warmth.  New to the role, yet gifted with an eye for detail and a heart for people, Jake and the team start each service right from the car park. Jake and Mel are the proud parents of young Judah; a delightful bundle of joy who keeps everyone laughing that is if dad doesn’t.
  Ian and BJ South
BUILDING
Many churches yearn to have people of this calibre working as part of their team. Ian and BJ have their feet firmly planted in the world of building but their hearts and lives dedicated to building the best church possible. Again with a team building mentality, this couple are responsible for maintenance and implementation of many of the churches refurbishments, be it pulling down walls, to painting to vision, there is no one better than Ian and BJ. Parents of two incredible young teenagers, Ian and BJ embody service in the name of the Lord.
  Melody Towns
COMMUNICATIONS
Mel is the newest member of the team and has flair with words and all things communication (and no she didn’t write this). From coordinating Church announcements, newsletters, emails and letters to the web page, Mel keeps track of all that is happening and accurately and efficiently distributes this to our whole family. A new mum and working at many other projects in her busy life – Mel’s smile is infectious (it is easy to see where Judah gets it from) (and no she didn’t write this either!)

CHURCH LIFE
With so much going on during a month let alone a year – church at Abundant Life is never boring. Far from it – we have needed to develop a whole new role department dedicated to ensuring our program is balanced, efficient and smooth. Rose has a gift for administration and team empowerment along with a passion for the House of God – her desire is to see the church shine with excellence and seeing a generation say “whatever it takes’ to see the gospel prosper.
