Welcome to our visitors lounge. We trust that in this section you may get a glimpse into what make us tick as a church. There is so much to absorb and so many questions to ask in getting to know a church. Often we leave a meeting thinking “I wish I had asked” – so why not have a brief read of some of our key points, so that you can spend Sunday soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying the company, music and message and then relaxing with a great coffee on the deck out in the sun. (We will of course answer any of your questions at any time)
For us Church is not peripheral to the world, the world is peripheral to the church. This means that the church we see is Gods chosen instrument to see real and significant change happen today in our world. Real and significant change in families, marriages, schools, relationships, health, finances, you name it! God chose the church and through the power of the Holy Spirit, through a proper, powerful and practical unpacking of His Word (the Bible), and through wonderful times with each other and with our God (worship) this change will happen. The church is about being central in this change not sitting on the edge watching lives, destinies and hope slip into oblivion.
We believe we all have a role to play in seeing this church developed and released. At Abundant Life Church, we pray Gods richest blessings upon you, your life and loved ones. We love the life we are living – but are far from satisfied. How can we be comfortable when we have a world that needs abundant life – but are living in spiritual and relational poverty, starving for truth and sick from lack of hope and joy.
We would love to partner with your life, utilize and mobilise your gifts and work together to see real and significant change spread like wildfire in our land.

WHO WE ARE
Abundant Life Church is a family of real people, facing similar struggles and ups and downs as everyone else. However …
Life often hurts, but we believe in and have experienced a God who heals.
At times it may feel like life is coming apart at the seams, but we have a God who restores our health, esteem and joy.
We may feel adrift, but we have a God who reunites us with our purpose, destiny and inheritance.
The difference in our lives at Abundant Life Church is we have found a home in our God that equips and empowers, releases and inspires us to be overcomers, living a “more than” life.
We believe Jesus makes the same offer to everyone, regardless of class culture or background. His love, hope and promise are not dependent on how good we are and the goal is not perfection, rather a real, vibrant and living relationship with the God who holds the whole universe in His hands.
We Love Life, Love God and Love people. We value relationship over religion, relationship with our creator and relationship with each other. We believe we are here for a purpose.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT
At Abundant Life Church, you can expect a warm welcome matched with our firm belief that you are amazing and have an essential role to play in eternity.
We have a dynamic, modern and fresh approach to music that involves new songs every week, some from our own songwriters and some of the nations finest. Drums, guitar, keyboards and passion feature in our worship times.
A relevant, uplifting message of approximately 30 minutes will be presented each week with the goal being to unlock the benefits of a relationship with Jesus rather than burdening anyone with rules, regulations and pressure to conform.
We do take up a weekly offering, but this encouragement is to family members, and while we believe in the abundance that generosity and faithfulness unlocks, there is never any pressure to give. For a full explanation of our views on money please see the attached pdf.
We run three fantastic kids programs each week, Crèche for our smallest ones (18 months to 3 yrs), Building Blocks for those who the love to smash and crash (3-7 yrs) and Kids for Jesus who run the amazing Kidmo program. Each age group has dedicated leaders and specialised programs. Our Kids zones are close to our main centre so our most treasured possessions will never be far away – but they always come back with huge smiles and full hearts.
We try to keep each weekend fresh and diverse so there is no chance of being bored. Mothers Day and Fathers Day, Grand Finals, Easter and Christmas are all special days in our calendar, but you never know what guest or special event/item we have up our sleeves. Life is just too much fun to spend it in church being bored. Following each service we serve great coffee along with the opportunity to have the best cappuccinos in town.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe we are all made in the image of God and have a purpose to fulfil here on this planet. Jesus told his disciples “whosoever among you wants to be great you must be their servant”, so greatness was not something Jesus asked us to shrink from. A great life, great marriages, great families, great health – all because of our great great God.
We live beyond ourselves, for more than ourselves, as we are called and equipped to have abundant lives. Abundance means “to have an excess, or an overflow”, to limit the joy, passion and freedom God has commanded for our lives would be a crime. Our time on this earth is short; we believe we have all eternity to celebrate our victories but one short hour to win them. We are about getting on with the job of being salt to a tasteless world and light to a world living in darkness.
As a member of Australian Christian Churches (Assemblies of God) we hold to the statements of faith as expressed in the national constitution as well as our own.

OUR MISSION
Our Purpose is to be salt and light to the world.
Salt is a preserving agent and taste enhancer for life. Salt is also used as a healing agent. As a church family we long to see marriages preserved, business built, health restored and life enhanced with laughter, joy and peace.
Light is one of God’s great qualities and we believe there is not enough darkness in the world to extinguish the light of a single candle – let alone the Father of lights. We aim to be a city on a hill, a beacon of hope to our whole community, state and beyond into the entire world. In God’s light sickness, low self-esteem and suffering flee.
We see our life’s Mission as a Connection with our creator and then a mission to connect all His creation back to Him.
