Supporting families is very important to us at Abundant Life Church. We believe there is a place for everyone, from newborn, to grandparent! We each have value, and all belong. Parenting is tough! The days are long, and the nights sometimes longer. It really is a learn on the job gig that is so much richer when shared with like minded, equally sleep deprived, eager to grow parents. Amongst all the chaos, we believe that happy marriages with joy filled parents creates an amazing environment for raising a family.
Abundant Life Church loves to support parents in finding their joy, with practical and spiritual support. Our Family Pastors Kathryn and Isaac Smith love to connect with new families and are always looking for opportunities to bring our church families together to share in this fun, energetic, loud, sometimes hectic journey of parenting!

You can join our MOPS online group here.
Mums of Preschoolers is a community program for mums with preschool aged children (0-5 yrs). The Mums attend a cafe style session with morning tea and coffee provided, while the children are catered for in a kids program run in an adjacent building and fully fenced playground by staff and volunteers (all have a working with vulnerable people check and have been through the Safe Churches processes as per Australian Christian Churches recommendations). Each week is a different session for the Mums to engage in - these can include practical sessions such as craft and creative activities or sessions with expert speakers on topics that interest Mums (eg. first aid, positive parenting, raising resilient children).
MOPS is a great chance for busy Mums to relax and form connections with other Mums in their community in a welcoming, safe and supportive environment.
Tiny Tots is a free fortnightly playgroup for Mums, Dads, Grandparents & caregivers of children over 6 months to come and enjoy an informal play time and connection with one another.
This group runs on the alternate fortnight to our MOPS group, from 10am-11.30am, during school terms.
