involving your kids & youth in missions

We believe everyone - no matter their age - has something valuable to give.

Helping kids engage with missions doesn't have to be complicated. It starts by helping them see people the way Jesus does and creating simple, everyday opportunities to live generously. As they pray, give, serve, and learn about God's world, they're not just supporting missions - they're growing hearts that love people and reflect Jesus.

Here are some fun and practical ideas to help your family get started.

Collect & Recycle

Save cans and bottles through your local recycling scheme, then donate the money to missions.

Pray for the Nations

Choose a country or one of our mission partners and pray for them together as a family each week.

Encourage a Missionary

Write a card, draw a picture, or send a message to one of our mission partners to let them know you're praying for them.

Pack with Purpose

Help pack hampers, care packages, or donated items for local outreach or mission projects. It's a hands-on way to serve others together.

Start a Mini Fundraiser

Hold a lemonade stand, bake sale, or hot chocolate stall of your own, and give the proceeds to support mission projects.

Dream Big

Ask God how He could use your gifts and passions to make a difference in the world - today and in the future.

Be Generous at Home

Generosity starts close to home. Look for opportunities to serve your family, neighbours, and friends with kindness.

Earn to Give

Do extra jobs around the house or in the neighbourhood - wash cars, weed gardens, or walk dogs - and donate some or all of the money to missions.

Join a Missions Market

Create artwork, crafts, baked goods, or handmade items to sell at one of our Missions Markets. Click here for more info!

Give Something Up

Skip a takeaway, treat, or toy and donate the money instead. It's a simple way to put others first.

Learn About Another Culture

Read a book, watch a documentary, or learn about another country to grow your understanding of God's world.

Celebrate with Purpose

Instead of asking for only birthday gifts, invite friends to contribute towards a mission project or charity that's close to your heart.

Remember: Missions isn't just something we support - it's a way of living. Every act of generosity, kindness, and compassion helps kids discover God's heart for the world.
