volunteer dress code

Thanks for serving! We’re grateful for the way you help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone at church. 

Our dress code is simply  neat, modest, and approachable. We want volunteers to feel comfortable while also representing the heart and culture of our church well. 

A few simple guidelines: 

• Dress casually, but tidy and presentable 

• Choose clothing that’s modest and appropriate for a family environment  

• For safety reasons, please always wear closed-toe shoes 

• Please Avoid: Clothing with offensive graphics or messaging, activewear or sporting gear, thongs/crocs/ugg boots. 

• If you’re serving on stage or in visible leadership areas, such as welcome or hosting, aim for more something more formal. Simple, distraction-free outfits are best (think- what would I wear if I were going out to dinner at a nice restaurant with people I’ve never met before?) 

• If your role requires a volunteer t-shirt, please wear this when serving.
